Who thought it would be a good idea to put a landau top on a Jaguar?

You know, by Florida law, it’s legal to shoot a person for doing that to a Jag.

Off topic to your post though, I recently bought a 2005 S40 T5 AWD, is there anything I should keep my eye out for on these Volvos?

Oh awesome! That T5 engine is one of their best. Super reliable and a lot of parts for it.
Depending on where you are rust might be a concern. The other big thing would be the timing belt. That’s crucial to these cars.
I know sometimes the electrics can be a little funky but that’s kind of just normal.
What’s the mileage at on it?

It now has a little over 90,000 miles. I had the salesman put it up on a lift, it has a tiny bit of surface rust on the subframe and none on the unibody which is really good for a car that lived in Mass its whole life. It was a one owner car fax with lots of service records

I think car dealers and custom shops need to have some sort of a “do no harm” ethics code, like doctors.

But then how would they make enough money to stay in business?
